  • Yes. All candidate data is stored on Canadian servers. We do not transfer personal information outside of Canada, in keeping with PIPEDA requirements and our commitment to Canadian data residency.

  • No problem at all. Our one-time option lets you order a single check with no account required and no ongoing commitment. Pay securely by credit card in Canadian dollars and receive your results by email.

  • Absolutely. The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) governs how private-sector organizations in Canada collect and use personal information, including in hiring. We follow all PIPEDA requirements including proper candidate consent, limiting data collection to what's necessary, and respecting candidates' rights to access their information.

  • Yes, and this is important. Alberta, British Columbia, and Quebec have their own substantially similar provincial privacy legislation (PIPA in Alberta and BC, Law 25 in Quebec). We stay current on these differences and flag any province-specific requirements that apply to your checks automatically.

  • Our Standard plan runs month-to-month with no long-term contract required. You can cancel anytime with no penalty. Pro and volume plans may have different terms. We'll be upfront about everything before you commit.
